Platform
LeaseControl is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6 with a Microsoft SQL server database. LeaseControl can be run as a standalone application or in a client - server environment using any edition of either Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005.

Workstation/Client Operating systems
LeaseControl operates on Vista, Windows NT, 2000 and XP.
LeaseControl produces a range of reports. To view these reports Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are required.

Recommended System Requirements for workstation (either as standalone or client).

• 800 MHz Intel® Pentium® III or higher processor recommended
• Microsoft® Windows Vista™, Windows® XP Professional or Home Edition, or Windows 2000 (SP4)
• 512 MB RAM
• 130 MB free disk space for installation
• 1024x768 VGA with true color recommended
• Microsoft Internet Explorer® 6 or higher
• Mouse, trackball, or compatible pointing device

Server Operating systems

Maxwell recommends that you run LeaseControl in a client - server environment. The server hardware requirements can be found on the Microsoft website and are dependant upon other services being run and the SQL edition being used.
